lets not forget there is the odd everton fan who is capable of using a phone

but if we didn't have Sammy and Pele at the club I would of liked to see KK as 2nd in command just for moral
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

despite his obvious flaws he still took newcastle closer to the title than we've been in 19 years. they were actually in a real race.

I'm not saying I'd want him here, not now, but I doubt i'd be as pissed off watching us under keegan than I have been in the last 10 seasons.

Kevin Keegan's second reign in charge of Newcastle has come to an end after he resigned as manager.

The news brings to an end huge confusion surrounding Keegan's future at the club, after talk of his departure first emerged on Monday evening.

Keegan held talks with Newcastle's hierarchy on Monday and Tuesday, and reports of him being sacked begin to leak out of St James' Park.

However, Newcastle denied he had been sacked and then Keegan insisted through the League Manager's Association that he had not resigned.

Now following further talks, Keegan has indeed quit his role - bringing to an end his second spell in charge which lasted eight months, after he took charge following Sam Allardyce's depature.

"I've been working desperately hard to find a way forward with the directors, but sadly that has not proved possible," Keegan said in a statement.

"It's my opinion that a manager must have the right to manage and that clubs should not impose upon any manager any player that he does not want.

"It remains my fervent wish to see Newcastle United do well in the future and I feel incredibly sorry for the players, staff and most importantly the supporters.

"I have been left with no choice other than to leave."

Was Xisco the reason KK went ?

At least when things look pretty grim at our club we can always look towards Newcastle Utd FC for a bit of comedy therapy. What a joke of a club!!

                      We'll never get that bad.

you know what, no matter how depressed I get about football, whether we're no playing well, the whole ownership issue or whatever. I always find a quick look up to the north east always puts a smile back on my face.

                              Newcastle a big club
