Everton can hardly put together a team for the game, they have 16 players on the BBC site and I don't recognise four or five at all. They really messed up their summer, poor buggers. Liege can definately give them a scare or even chuck them out.

**** - i'd piss myselfs if they get done - but that is such a weak squad - whats happened! - a few injuries like but they squad looks lin tatters - seriously - looks like a squad of a newly promoted side! Arteta is their only genuine footballer, the likes of osman, yakubu, howard, lescott and cahill are solid and do their job like but its' about their level. How long is arteta going to stick around for!? - hasn't he already been told that if he wants to play for spain he if needs to sign for one of the big four or go and play in spain! They have had a nightmare of a summer - something badly has happened cause granted they couldn't compete for big signings etc surely they could have bolstered their squad, even if they just gambled and signed three players on loan from european teams or just looked at the championship and went for three of the better players. ah well **** 'em - part of me wants them to get ****ing slaughtered, but part of me is thinking get through cause they will just implode if they get through to the group stages - there is no way there squad could compete in uefa/league/cups and they could be in tatters by christmas as a result

I feel quite sorry for Moyes. He has consistently done exceptionally well with Everton on bugger all cash and seems to get a lot less credit than the likes of Redknapp (who has the highest wage bill outside the top 4 or something equally ludicrous). Then his board give he only sporadic backing. It's very odd.

Obviously i would have felt more sorry for him if he hadn't whinged about having no money and then splashed the cash on Fellaini.

Squad is average and has been for years they have excelled something rotten over the past couple of years and the main reason for that is Moyes (prob next scum manager) cause theres relatively little financial support for him he has to make do but time on time builds a solid team of players who for the majority are mediocre!

I think there is a few candidates for the united job ie keane, hughes, etc but reckon the mancs will stun us all and go with a foreigner like guus hiddink or something

I kinda know how u mean tho dww about feeling sorry for him - i don't feel sorry for him cause they would never feel sorrow for us - but he has been ****ed over somewhat and left on the bones of his arse with the squad.

As i said they can't compete even with portsmouth or sunderland when signing players but it was blatantly obvious they needed 3 or 4 players so they should have done what they have done previously and raided the championships - i don't no enough about the championship but when u look at the likes of lescott, cahill, jagielka who all do a job for them, surely they could have a few others - not that i am really bothered like

I guess the word sorry was somewhat strong.

I don't think there is anyone much in the Championship that has stood out like the players you mention did (who were good at average sides for several season before being picked up by Everton).
