yeah - had a nightmare of a start, if we had their start we would be slaughtered by everyone, our own fans, the press etc

if they don't beat chelsea that would be a run of four games in all comps without a win!
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Brutal for a team that cost about 700 million and loved by all hehe. Long may it continue

And they claim they arent a one man team!! 90 million of striking talent without Ronaldo and they dont seem to have a clue in the final third. I really hope Ronaldo takes a while to get into form this year as he makes there attacking unit tick.
Mind you with Scholes and Giggs looking very past it now they might have problems in midfield if any injuries. They will sure miss Carrick.

You mean the same scholes who scored the winner v Barca? They are far from past it and bring a vital bit of experience to the Man Utd squad. That said it's probably their last season at United before there transfer to Sunderland.

Thats European Football and 6 months is a long time when you hit that age. I really dont think he will be up to much in the premiership, and the signs so far dont look to good (well for the rest of us they do).
I could be horribly wrong and they could come back in force if used right by Fergi. Hard to forget how good McAllister was for us, but even then the Premiership has increased by about 10 mph since then.
Also really need to remember is they both have played serious amount of games for United due to how well the team has done and the age they started at. McAllister with Leeds wouldnt have played nearly as many games.
Both players should have retired from United last year on a high after winning the double.

That's not true. They had a quite a few chances against us. It could have gone either way.

Then again I am over the moon that those cunts are firing blanks! But remember their start last season?

They had two shots on target against us. I dont remember them creating many actual chances. Two, i'd say.

Berbatov's first touch (Skrtel block) goes down as a chance IMO, and there was Tevez knocking it over the bar after we'd equalised.

Besides the goal I can't think of any more.

Giggs' dipping effort wasn't a chance exactly but a near miss.

                          Nothing else?

4 chances, Berbatov shot in first minute, The Tevez goal, The Tevez chance from 6 yards just after our equaliser and the shot by Giggs which Reina tipped over.

But it was the way we completely outplayed them that will have given Rafa pleasure and Fergie cause for concern. This was a far cry from the backs to the wall victories over the mancs under Houllier. This was 70 minutes of total domination in which the best team on show won.
