let the good times continue to roll

    cnuts
like last year then, we all saw what happened

theyre actually a couple of points better off in the league than they were last season but that will probably go into minus one on sunday and theyll coast through that group in the cl easily

mancs are the strongest team in the country and always goes on runs, would never write them off

i didnt do last year when they had less experience, this time theyve retained the league aswell as won the european cup. football would be boring if the mancs started seasons strongly

I could be horribly wrong and they could come back in force if used right by Fergi. Hard to forget how good McAllister was for us, but even then the Premiership has increased by about 10 mph since then.
Also really need to remember is they both have played serious amount of games for United due to how well the team has done and the age they started at. McAllister with Leeds wouldnt have played nearly as many games.
Both players should have retired from United last year on a high after winning the double.
I still think the way the Mancs play requires a while to build up the required understanding. I think the introduction of Berbatov (and presumably a second way of playing to accommodate him) will exaggerate that too. Having said that I think they have the best squad and team in Europe when everyone is fit.

I do think the loss of Queiroz is a huge blow to them. His tactical knowledge helped setup and modify the team a lot last season and without it strange decisions like those made against us could significantly weaken them. I think he was also instrumental in using the likes of Scholes to their best ability allowing him to play a bit deeper and use his excellent passing range more than the runs of old. Against us he was exposed to a lot of hustling and no one seemed to help him out. Against less well organised (and frankly quality) teams than ourselves he will be fine, his touch and vision remain exceptional. Personally I think Giggs is a limited force now but as he showed with that shot he still has something to offer at times.

I think at the end of the season we might well be crying out for players with their sort of league winning experience.

Since old purple nose has been manager (I know it's a long time) he is the only manager in European football to have spent over 1 billion pounds.
Secondly for every one so called supporter (bandwagon jumper) there are 100that despise them with a passion, infact it's not hatred any more it's pure rancour.
