"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

10 games 4 goals, good start for Crouchy at Pompey.

I understand what you are trying to say. He is always offside. He's frustrating to watch. I'm sure Cisse will give him company at the top of both those tables.
I'd be willing to bet he ends the season with an approximately 1 in 3 record. He is a very streaky striker.

Another great goal from Crouchie today - a trademark overheard kick.

Yep, he has scored three or four of them now.

Look ****ing ace, don't they ?!

Fancy Crouch and Defoe to net 40+ between them in all comps.

On another site I offered a charity bet at the start of the season - Crouchy to outscore Keane. Nobody would take it .

Madness, why did we sell this fella!

Surely we could've accommodated him with Kuyt, Torres and Keane? It's not like any of those have a style of play that is at all similar to him. Weird

I love the bloke and wish we hadn't, but we weren't left with much choice.

Rafa didn't want him first team and like it or not that meant he didn't want to stay.

Can't blame him, and can't really blame Rafa either. You can disagree with either of them, but they both had very valid reasons for their decisions.

But yeah, miss the lanky sod a lot. Always had a sense that the unexpected could happen. Even if it was a 50-50 that the unexpected was missing a sitter it was worth it for the pearlers he scored.

Class player, class bloke, over the moon he's doing well (except when we meet of course).

It's a times like that when it is traditional to blame Parry.

I agree with all that you say about Crouch. I think the point that he could have been accommodated alongside Keane, Kuyt and Torres is a slightly moot one as we presumably wouldn't have had the cash to buy Keane if we hadn't sold Crouch.
