    Fighting on the terraces

Got a couple of Oldham mates at the local derby at Stockport tonight and they've both been in touch to tell me they're fighting on the terraces!

Not my mates - but Oldham fans have invaded the home end and it's gone off after the Latics scored. Coppers wading in with dogs, the works!

Nice to know some of football's most time-honoured working class traditions are being upheld.

Hardly anything to 'rock' about is it shaggy?

Worrying times on the terraces - it seems fans are getting away with all sorts these days.

Only a matter of time before something really bad happens.

I'm only joking really but a very small, dark part of me thinks a little scrap here and there is....er....fun! So long as I'm not involved.

I'm from North Wales myself but realise the importance of this game. The build up to the match was massive, it had a **** load of coverage even on the North Wales news.

The biggest match we've had here in Wales of late is Rhyl vs TNS, that says a lot about Welsh football. This was a big game for both teams. I watched the news in the run up to the game and everyone was hoping that the game would pass off with no trouble.

No chance, the Cardiff fans are bad *******s but it wasn't just them. It was both sets of fans that were involved. The thing is, they ****ing hate each other.

People in England forget that the Welsh are even here. This game was massive!! Especially to the people of this area. I've always supported LFC ever since I was a kid and realise the importance of beating Utd, but if you're from South Wales then you'll understand the importance of this game to both sets of fans.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

It's still only football for christs sake. They are all bloody Welshmen when all is said and done. Broaden that out and we are all Britons. Don't forget when we had hooliganism in days gone by then fences went up, attendances dropped and parents wouldn't take their kids to the game. Do we really want to go back to that ****?

It's all macho crap especially when they get in a gang. Wouldn't say boo to anyone if they were on their own.

How not to deal with a pitch invasion

Here is a great one, four Security guards decided to unnecessarily beat up a man, and the fan in the stadium swarm the field to get revenge. this one made me really happy to see these ass-hats get owned 50 strong.
