        Yep the footballing authorities are all mouth and no trousers when it comes to dealing with racism and homophobia. The fines they issue are ridiculously small and they never ban teams - pathetic really considering all the noise they make about being tough in these areas..

            Croatia were fined something like £20k. Thats not enough a slap on the wrist, more like a pat on the fanny ala Akabusi. Its preposterous. Surely the way to eradicate racism and homophobic chanting would be to play in front of empty stadiums for a whole qualification campaign? That would burn a massive hole in the pockets of the country's FA.
