Who has the quietest supporters in the Premiership?

Mr Wenger can hear a pin drop at the Emirates apparently!!

Personally, having been to most grounds in the prem, I really do believe that we have the best fans home and away period. Despite the early kick offs at Anfield, I still believe that over a season we have the best fans. However, compared to how Anfield was in the 70's and 80's the modern day all seater Anfield doesn't really compare for noise especially (The first two Chelsea semi-finals apart).
I'd be interested to get your thoughts on this.

In terms of best away support, again I really do think that we are the best. Compared to the other "big 3" we are better home and away. This is based on feedback from various supporters representing a cross section of Prem clubs. Old Toilet, Emirates and Stamford are pretty tame compared to Anfield particularly on European nights.

    Worst fans:

Stoke, Wigan, Boro, Bolton, Blackburn, Chelsea, Fulham.

    Better fans:

Sunderland, Newcastle, Man City, Pompey, West Ham

Boro have the worst fans in terms of support. At least Arsenal's make some noise when they play their rivals.

I dont get the whole 'newcastle fans are so amazing' theory. All they do is boo their team off.

Yes but they've also a very loyal and passionate following.

What do loyalty and booing your own team have in common? Loyal my arse.

Whatever, would you not boo Liverpool if they were as big a mess as Newcastle? Of course you would.
I do genuinely we have the best support in the world but Newcastle's fans are amongst the best, no doubt about it.

newcastles fans are among the best and i had alot of respect for those deluded geordies. HOWEVER, when they started boycotting games during protests to get rid of ashley i lost any respect i had for them. st james park was like a ghost town. no fan should ever boycott games. those that do are not real fans.

I went to plenty of Newcastle games while at Uni there. They are a great bunch and they love their football but they are thick as pig ****. They can make a real racket but they second they go 1-0 down they turn on their team. Seen it countless times.

Also, although they consistently get a good crowd in, the reason for that is that they are the only team in Newcastle, and the only half decent team in the North East. If they had two Premiership teams like we do in Liverpool and Manchester, they would be scraping 30,000 fans a week. Most overrated fans in the country

I would never boo my own club, it's moronic and pathetic.
