I agree with spud. ****e manager. Wasted a ridiculous amount of money on ****e players and yet seems to be held in high regard. No idea why coz his team is **** and he won't even commit himself to the club that have given him over £70m to waste on ****e. I think he knows he has bought crap and is now looking to get himself away from the mess of a team he has. I think it is very early to judge him as a manager. He has spent a lot of money but he came from a very low base in a very short period of time. Whatever anyone says about the amount he spent he has achieved his goals in terms of survival and when he took over they were a struggling team in the Championship. It took Steve Bruce years before he consistently made good buys as a manager and he did that at a much lower level where his reputation was enough to attract the better players in those divisions.

He is generally a decent interview in the sense that he does largely give an opinion on the games without too many excuses and doesn't attack referees.

That said there is nothing to suggest in his performance so far that he will become a particularly good manager in the future.
