    Rio Ferdinands ALL TIME XI

Yes his greatest all time homegrown players XI and it doesn't include Kenny Dalglish.

Instead he chooses Rooney. The only sensible choices he made were Best, Walker and Barnes. Everyone else is a ManUre bum boy.

If you're not manc scum, you seemingly have to be black to win favour with Rio.

It was difficult to choose between Gary and Wes Brown

That's the kind of level we're working at here. I'm just surprised there's no place for Remi Moses.

Not an easy task, but still, makes me laugh.

Re the Neville vs Brown thing, didn't think it was an ugly eleven he was going for..

Wtf? he is as stupid as he looks, the only players i'd consider are Best, Barnes (on the left) and maybe Keane.
              We come not to play.

wright on the bench - i'm assuming thats ian wright! - how the **** could you pick ian wright ahead of players like, keegan, rush, lineker, shearer to name a few!!!

In fact you would jib of rooney and giggs and have barnes and best on the wings and then pick two ****ing good strikers. - I can't be arsed looking at rest of the team!

I thought Des Walker was a decent pick to be honest.

Rio is being diplomatic. In reality he knows it is all about The King and also Rushie.

I don't care who Rio has chosen for this pointless exercise but I nearly did spit out my coffee when I read about how difficult it was for him to choose between Gary Neville and Wes "current third choice right back for Manchester United but second best right back out of all British players ever" Brown.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Its actually really hard to choose an alltime homegrown X1, heres mine (probably very LFC biased)

                            Banks
                            Nicol Hansen Moore Kennedy
                            Charlton Souness Barnes
                            Best Dalglish
                            Rush
                            We come not to play.
