Zola really hasn't made a mark at West Ham and with their cash crisis may find it hard to alter his squad in January so I guess they have to be thought of as in genuine trouble.
West Ham wont go down, things arent going for them, but they're genuinely much better than at least 3 or 4 sides. Cant see them in any bother.

West Brom always play nice football but they just dont have the firepower up front that's required at this level.

Newcomers have to be at least either capable of getting goals and/or organised fighters who are hard to beat. Albion are neither.

What's actually great about it is how tight it is. 3 points separating 10th and 20th and all those sides in there have work to do.

          WBA, West Ham and Stoke.

Three clubs that can't buy themselves out of trouble.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think it will be very tight and at the minute West Ham don't have anything better than the teams around them from what I have seen. They have a weak CM and with Ashton and Bellamy always in and out of the team they don't have great striking options either.

I'd agree that West Brom lack firepower but like Fulham last year if you play decent enough football you only need someone to find a bit of form in front of goal and things can turn around when you are looking to play attacking football. I still think they will go down in the end but I think they will put up a fight.

Bolton, West Ham and Stoke for me.

I think West Brom will play their way out of it.

Expect West Ham may need to sell rather than buy in the window. They've got a manager with no experience who seems to be picking players based on reputation e.g. Boa Morte. They're ****, and they will go down imo. Unless the PL/FA decide to get involved again to stop it.

At least Stoke have a bit of fight in them.

West Ham are in a slump right now, but i'm really surprised at how many people think they'll actually go down. Fair play to you lot if it happens, but i'd be staggered if they got relegated.

Which players do you seem performing to get them out of it? If they fail in their appeal they will owe Sheffield United £30m and their Icelandic owners have financial problems already. I really don't think there are many positives for them at the minute.

I will say that I think the teams that survive are more likely to be those that play football and aim to score goals and that would seem to be Zolas MO but at the minute they are simply too porous at the back and have no fight.

Noble and Parker are gritty midfielders but players like Kieron Dyer, Lucas Neill and Boa Morte you wouldn't want in a dogfight

They've got quality at the back in Upson but it's a question whether Ashton and Bellamy can find form up front. Definitely need to add to the squad and better in January if they wanna stay up!

Boy Jack Collison looks good though!!

Ooh at the start of the season I'd have said Hull, Stoke & Fulham / Bolton

Now I'm thinking three from Stoke, Fulham, Bolton, West Brom... and possibly West Ham as they can't score and have lost what, 5 from 6 now? Sunderland should be ok.
