Joker Anderson takes the mickey with mouse

Not everyone is entering into the new spirit of prankstership at Old Trafford.

This column reported a few weeks back that a favourite pastime of Man United players is a bizarre version of 'scissors, paper, stone' which culminates in Ji-Sung Park being repeatedly hit over the head with a shoe to general hilarity.

So perhaps Anderson was expecting more belly laughs when he picked up a field mouse at training the other day and popped it down the back of a teammate's shirt.

Alas the recipient was fun loving Gary Neville, who told Anderson "You'll be fined!", while frantically clawing at his back and swearing loudly as team-mates and Sir Alex Ferguson collapsed in fits of giggles.

I actually started writing a reply to this yesterday made out as his diary, but it was **** so I didn't post it

Something like:

October 9th

was at training today, just after checking that my mustache wasn't gone with the wind, I saw Sir leaving the training. I didn't like it, as every time Sir goes away, the other players usually call me names and shouts 'son of neville neville takes it up the arse' etc...

Well, you get the point, not very funny
