Yeah, reserve game too. Probably a rehabilitation game.

What undoubtedly is funny is the video of his three glaring misses against West Ham in the last game of the 94-95 season culminating in Blackburn winning the title.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

always felt quite sorry for the lad, he had a really top notch goal scoring record for the scum, won loads of trophies but will never ever be rated by anyone, even manc fans. Always seemed to be a bit of a miserable ******* as well.

And he tried to get everyone to call him Andrew Cole, not Andy Cole. FFS.

Englands answer to Pippo Inzaghi. Rubbish finisher, needed a gazillion chances to score. Wasn't good enough for England, I remember one chance he had under Howard Wilkinson which he totally screwed up

I remember him playing against Andorra, I think it was. The other England players laid chance after chance on a plate for him, he missed all of them. I think he finally scored one at the death but should have had about 6.

I also remember his "I'm retiring from international football" speech. Funny as hell.
