    Johnny Metgod is back!

I'll never forget his absolute ****ing screamer back in the day...

Former Nottingham Forest and Tottenham midfielder John Metgod is set to become the new first-team coach at Portsmouth.

The 50-year-old former Dutch international will leave his job as coach at Feyenoord to join new Pompey boss Tony Adams at Fratton Park.

"The chance to return to the highest level in England is appealing to me," he told the Feyenoord website.

The role had been vacant since Joe Jordan joined former Pompey boss Harry Redknapp at Tottenham on Saturday.

    More to follow.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

For me he was Forest's equivalent of Big Jan.
Obviously a few stone lighter but always had loads of time to play, great passer and bullet of a shot/freekick.

      Good to see him back

You can't spell Metgod without god.

        Or met.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
