Yeah I was going to say that. I like him as a pundit but it could well be largely to do with the bias.

Danny Murphy has been on the radio and tv a fair bit recently, and I feel he will make a very good pundit when he retires. Roy Hodgson is good value too IMO.

Yes I like Hodgson. But I also occasionally like Pleat and Taylor. As ex-managers, at least they say things I (and loads of ex-players it seems) would never have thought of.

      I've said that before.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Danny Murphy is excellent and as you say Reece will make a good pundit. A much more articulate footballer than the vast majority...thoughtful and straightforward.

Basically aye. There is some minimal discussion.

I just found him thoroughly interesting to listen to and you can't say that about most.

Minimal is good. None would be better though.

I must jump on the Danny Murphy bandwagon and admit I like the lad and he is articulate, clever and will be the best football pundit by a ****ing mile.

He has started to take Danny Mills' job on 5 Live. I do like Danny Mills - thought his analysis is spot on.

Seeing a lot of that Graeme Murty who sounds like a miserable sod
