I see United are getting beat 2-1 Along with Arsenal getting beat 1-0. Not very important matches but still good to see them behind.

Unfortunately Villarreal are also losing so the scum will still finish top. Arsenal will finish second at this rate though. As with us though I guess it doesn't make a massive difference. I just hope Chelsea or Arsenal draw Barca

Yup wont make much difference specially for United but they do have a pretty strong team out for it. Still think United will probably win but will be a bit of an embarrassment if they dont.
Wont help the confidence at all for Arsenal so hopefully that has a knock on effect at the weekend then for against us as well

We dont want Arsenal to lose actually, because if Porto win the group, it means we cant play them and it makes it more likely that we'll get a top class opponent in the last 16. Hope Arsenal get back into this.

Not watching but just read this on the Beeb...

2053: A flurry of action. Wayne Rooney gets away with a wild lunge at an Aalborg defender

                What a ****ing surprise.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Didnt see who they were playing, Paul Merson was going on about how the kids are being totally outclassed and he doesnt think they are as good as everyone was making out.

They werent really kids mate, there were reserves and some were early 20s and stuff, but it wasnt the usual league cup team that's often full of 16 and 17 year olds (although Gibbs and Wilshere came off the bench).

                          Their lineup was:
Almunia, Eboue, Gallas, Silvestre, Djourou, Ramsey (Wilshere 59), Diaby (Gibbs 59), Song Billong (Randall 78), Denilson, Vela, Bendtner.

My first mistake was listening to Paul Merson

That's the first question to ask when you hear something and want to check it's validity - 'is it Paul Merson who is saying it?'
