Didn't watch the whole game, did Drogba come on for Anelka?

Thanks, I guess. I thought you were making a point about dropping points at home but obviously you were simply enjoying the moment of Chelsea's failure to win.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYes, we should Neil. Didnt someone else pull you up on your sarcastic/arrogant style the other day, too?
You do confrontational very well.
I think it was Sarb.
As I recall, I had a good little chat with rage even though we disagreed.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Originally posted by Craig_H View PostTo an extent yes. But some of their dropped home points have been against us, Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs etc.
Ours have been against Fulham, WHU, Stoke and Hull.
Outside of losing to us and Arsenal, Chelsea have had home draws against Spurs, Newcastle, Man Utd and West Ham
Hardly a world of diffence is it.

There's not a world of difference between dropping home points to Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs and dropping home points to Hull City, Stoke City, West Ham and Fulham?
Are you actually trying to say they're more or less the same?

Ok - take the 'big 3' out of their points dropped and you are left with home draws against Newcastle, Spurs and West Ham vs our 4 drawn home games against 'lesser' teams
not a world of difference is it?

Again, you're suggesting that Newcastle and Spurs are the same as the newly promoted Hull and Stoke.
Spurs are a very good side and Newcastle are an established, experienced Premier League team.
So yes, there's a fair bit of difference.

To be fair it very much depends at which point in the season you look at Spurs and Newcastle. At times they have been much worse than either of those two promoted teams (and Hull are actually doing better than either in the league).Originally posted by Craig_H View Post

In general I think we all should accept though that our home record has been poor and that the results have exposed specific weaknesses in our team/squad at the minute.
I do think there is a danger though that people have been under-estimating a lot of teams. [Although not Stoke who are limited to an extreme]"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
