    Ricardo Quaresma, the football sensation

Has started just 10 games this season in all competitions. Was taken off in 7 of those, and came in as a sub in 6 games.

Scored one goal so far, in his debut.

    That is all

Yes but how many step overs and passes has he made with the outside of his foot? Those are the key skills of any footballer.

He's been ****ing dire, he doesnt even make the bench sometimes. If it stays this way then 2 failed moves abroad on his CV doesnt look good.

Come on, it wasn't a problem for Maradona or Zidane or, not at their level, Totti, Del Piero, Gullitt, Batistuta, Van Basten, etc.

It's too early to tell whether Quaresma will adapt to Italian football but I doubt he'll ever be fit to mentioned in that company.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

He is clearly not as great as the hype that has surrounded him. In fact he has never actually been all that at all, I remember someone saying he taught C Ronaldo everything he knows, shame he didn't practice it himself

I really don't think the Italian league is a defensive one any more, its just gotten crappier.

I said last season when people were raving about this guy that he only ever has 1 good game in every 7 or so. Apart from his set-pieces he is pretty awful and even then he messes up most of his corners

The same can be said about his passing. 1 good one 7 or so poor ones.
