    Robinson red rescinded

The Mancs went on to win the game 5-0 but that would never have happened had Robinson not been ludicrously sent off by that clown Styles. It was 1-0 when he was sent off FFS.

You know we're up against it with this sort of **** happening.

Hard not to forget Styles' decision at Old Trafford too, when he gave United a laughable penalty for a good tackle on that vile Portuguese ****.

Also, when will Styles be accountable for his sheer ineptitude?

West Brom defender Paul Robinson has had his red card against Manchester United on Tuesday rescinded by the Football Association.

The 30-year-old was shown a straight red by referee Rob Styles for his first-half challenge on Ji-Sung Park in the 5-0 defeat to leaders United.

He would have faced a three-match ban had the sending off been upheld.

However, the FA has overturned the decision on appeal, freeing the left-back to play against Hull this weekend.

Mowbray was understandably delighted to have the player, who has featured in all but one of the team's league games this season, available for what is a vital next three matches against fellow relegation-threatened sides Hull, Newcastle and Fulham.

"It is a boost for everyone, particularly at this moment with losing Jonathan Greening through injury," he said.

"To lose Paul Robinson, our vice-captain as well, would have been a massive loss for us. He is a leader and it's important that teams have those sort of personalities on the pitch.

"Paul is a wholehearted player and I see him tackle his own team-mates every day in training like that."

Mowbray also praised the FA for the nature and speed of their decision saying: "It was right we appealed and great credit to the FA in putting together a panel so quickly which means we will not be punished again."
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He'll be removed from 'high profile' games for a couple of weeks and then he will be back making more poor decisions.

Its astonishing he's still allowed to ref at this level, he pretty much ruins every match he's involved in. The 3 worst penalty decisions last season were his doing including the one which robbed us against Chelsea, he's involved in ridiculous red cards, gives penalties for dives etc, he's just completely inept at his job.

Small consolation for the Baggies. Every decision went against them on Tuesday.
