Harper's problem is command of the area. He's a good shot stopper and very capable in the air, but he sticks to his line too often rather than sweeping up behind the defence, far too often because of this he's only 50/50 with a striker chasing a through ball rather than 70/30. The loss of Given will be hard for them to handle imo.

defo hard for them to replace given. i know what you mean bout harper sticking to his line too often. but he's prob gonna be the best option for them given that the market for good, available goalkeepers is dry at the moment. just a thought but joe hart from citeh would be a good move for them. should have tried for a swap deal.
