If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I really don't remember starting this thread. I can see it was popular at the time

I saw a poster for Sky Sports on the way to work featuring Souness, Redknapp, Carragher and Neville.

        3 - 1 to us.
Yes, when I can. What's that got to do with being grown up? I don't have sky so I don't get to see much football.

I don't have sky either but I watch streams. With the sound off. I've watched MOTD about 3 times in about 10 years.

I dunno, I read somewhere that the Sunday morning repeat for the kids was more viewed than the Saturday night version. Which means to me that it's a programme which appeals more to children than adults.

But I don't know for sure, hence the question.
          Oh I don't know.

Or that lots of the target audience are out/otherwise occupied at that time on a Saturday night, and so they watch the repeat the next day instead. As well as the kids.

So you only watch full games, presumably ours, but no interest in highlights? I definitely am going in the same direction but still retain an interest in other games. I don't manage to watch it every week and tend to watch the morning version, but that's just the impact of having a small baby. Much more likely to be awake at 6am on a Sunday than 11pm on a Saturday

Maybe, but it's a bit early for most people who were out late the night before to catch whilst they're hanging. I'm not up early enough most weekends for example.

That slot is primarily aimed at kids though. Where can we get the viewing demographics from?
                Oh I don't know.

Re your first sentence, yep. Totally correct.

Well, if as you say the Sunday morning repeat is for 'kids', and they get 'more' viewers that Saturdays edition, and hence it would follow that Saturdays edition is for 'Grown Ups', and seeing as Sundays edition which is for 'the kids' gets more viewers than Saturdays 'for Grown up's', then it follows that Saturdays edition does atleast get some veiwers, which as we've established are 'Grown Ups', which then implies that yes, 'Grown up's' do still watch MOTD.

Glad to clear that up for you.

                      Thank you Vermy.

It's good to be literal sometimes isn't it.

Kids have their own channel Dom it's not just the 5 main channels now!
On Sunday morning at 7.45am BBC 1 have a program called News watch for 15 mins which is a 'points of view' type program about the reporting of the news for the past week. Not something I'd imagine the kids would enjoy that much.
7am wake up for me at the weekend is a 2 hour lie in now days......

You seem to spend a lot of time telling people on a football forum how little you watch football. Seems kind of strange.
