      Quality player IMO and showed absolutely no signs that he is too old (he is only 31!!!). You are being way too harsh Joe.

        Very good player no doubt but he wouldn't work under the very restricting Benitez.

          You feeling ok Joe? Rafa is desperate for full backs who overlap and give the team more width - look at Arbeloa this season, and he has been superb.

          Grosso would be ideal for the way Rafa wants this team to play and would do a similar role to Arbeloa but on the left.
