    England Right backs

how the feck has England never produced a better right back than Gary Neville, he's kept that spot for about 10 years it's feckin rediculous.

He would have been lucky to have 10 caps if Rob Jones hadn't suffered all his injury troubles and had to retire.

I just find it bizzare how as a country we haven't produced anyone to challenge this tool.

Don't know about "never produced" but the reason we haven't produced since he took over is because premiership managers buy players in these days from abroad and are not interested in nuturing home grown talent or they don't have the time to nuture youth. So no-one gets premiership experience and hence never threaten Neville. Ask yourself how many Englishmen are playing right back in the premiership.

Possible because Gary Neville is actually very good, limited but genuinely a exceptional defensive right back (especially in the last few years as he has learnt how the offside rule works), who is not completely useless when supporting attacks.

I agree that Micah Richards does look an exceptional prospect.

It pains me to agree with this post. But i will.
