    Quick question...

Can anybody remember in the last 10 years has a pen been awarded against the Scum at Old Toilet?
    I can't...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Really scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

They have conceded more penalties at home than us, funnily enough.

Danny Murphy scored a pen against them a few years ago.

4 nil to Scum before the pen was given.

I don't buy that though as an excuse - it is the same at most of the top teams' grounds - the pressure from the home fans will always influence the referee IMO.

Also to be fair United through being very good at football have basically made most teams come to OT **** scared and hoping for a draw. They are also good enough to keep play mainly in the opposition half - which will reduce the number of penalties considerably.

There is an element of the fact that big teams get the decisions but in 90% of matches that applies to us too. I do think that Fergie has undue political influence over the FA/PL authorities and it annoys me how the press have bowed to his infantile refusal to talk to people who have criticised him but the biggest determinant of who finishes top in the league is the quality of the team and for the last two years United have been the best team.

                Excellent post.

Pretty much summed up the whole thing.

I dunno, but it still irks me that they water the opponent's end of the pitch during the interval to give them an advantage. If it isn't an advantage then why do it? And why only ever water the opponent's half? It's cheating.
