TV football pundit Jamie Redknapp was given first aid by boxer Ricky Hatton after collapsing in a restaurant.

Former England international Jamie, 35, was having dinner with his dad, Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry, when he fainted.

An onlooker at San Carlo in Manchester said: "A crowd gathered and Ricky was helping put him in the recovery position."

A spokesman for Hatton said: "He heard a commotion and did what he could."

Jamie recovered in 10 minutes and returned to his hotel.
FFS, you couldn't make it up.

Never been in San Carlo's Shaggy, is it any good?

Looks quite fancy, but a bit pricey. They seem to attract their fare share of celebs in there too. They had a hilarious picture of Carlos Tevez outside next to some tasty young lady. Talk about beauty and the beast.

Never been in the evening but ate there at lunchtime. Very nice indeed. Morten Gamst Pedersen was in there – I said to the waiter ‘I presume you know who that fella is?’ and he said “Yes, he has his lunch here nearly every day” FFS!
