    Name 3 Liverpool captains who have gone on to manage an english club to win the european cup?????



    Out of the 4 champs league semi finalists in 2008, 2 players have played for 3 of these clubs. Name them.

      the four semi finalists were

      Us
      Chelsea
      United
      Barcelona

      So er - zenden played for us chelsea and barca

              yeah thats how i read it at first and got me confused - same with the first question - wording confused me and i read it as "name three liverpool captains to go to manage a an english team and win the european cup - as in the they won the european cup with the english team they managed,

              don't know if i am right with my answers for the first i could think of really

                    WTF? Since when did Souness, Kenny and Lee win the European Cup as managers of an English side? Unless I've grossly mis-read the situation. It was my understanding no money would change hands.

                        I think it may be worded badly.
