I can't believe Fabregas did this. Having said that … wasn't he the one who threw pizza at United players after a game at Old Trafford? Anyway, childish behaviour all around last night. And Arsène never knows/sees anything.

I think at one time or another every Arsenal player has been blamed for the pizza tossing. last I heard Sir Alex was blaming Wenger himself. It does seem out of character for Cesc.

I am though taking the fact that Arsène said he didn't see it as categorical proof that it happened.

                    Fabregas and spitting

Fabregas has refuted claims that he spat at Hull's assistant manager, claiming he doesnt spit when he's actually playing, so why would he spit when he isnt?

"I categorically deny that I spat at anybody after the match," said the Spanish international in a statement.

"I have never done this in my whole career on the pitch, so why would I do it when I am not even playing?"

"I can understand the frustration of losing a game to a dubious goal, that has happened to me many times in my career as well, but this is not the fault of me or any of the Arsenal players."

Well guess what - he's got form:

                    Horrible little ****.

EDIT - Sorry, didnt read this thread before.

Ian Wright has been arguing today on Talk Spite, Adrian Durham too, that the vid of Fabregas spitting at Ballack proves nothing, and that to them it looks like he's just shouting something at Ballack and spits by accident.

                          Hull enter Fabregas 'spit' report

                          BBC SPORT, 2009/03/30 16:45:56 GMT

Hull City have submitted their full version of events to the Football Association regarding allegations of spitting by Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.

Hull accused Fabregas of spitting at assistant manager Brian Horton in the tunnel after their 2-1 FA Cup defeat at the Emirates Stadium on 17 March.

The 21-year-old Gunners captain has strenuously denied the allegations.

Hull have submitted statements from Horton, manager Phil Brown and fitness conditioner Sean Rush to the FA.

"There is an independent solicitor representing us and hopefully there will be no bias towards any one club," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"We really just want the truth to come out. If the truth comes out then we've got nothing to worry about."

The FA will now consider the evidence before deciding whether to take the matter further.
