    Ronaldo

easy to knock him, i know. so here goes.

he's a symbol of everything humans/athletes shouldn't be - arrogant, whining, lazy, selfish - could go forever. regardless of fergusons instructions to him to not worry about the defensive side of things and just leave himself free to attack, surely his teammates can't stand him? roy keane or steve bruce or bryan robson would surely have caught this **** by the throat as some stage and told him to cop the **** on in a past era? why does noone do it now? not that i care as i actually enjoy the scum having such an easy hate-figure.

Yep I absolutely hate him. Really detest him.

In years gone by the Mancs have had a lot of great players. I couldn't stand most if not all of them but there was almost always a grudging respect.

I have no respect whatsoever for this preening cunt. Some Mancs I know call Gerrard 'Stevie Me'.

      The ****ing cheek.

He epitomises United. Brash, arrogant, stupid, hypocritical, always in your face whilst Torres totally epitomises Liverpool - humble, passionate and intelligent.

Ronaldo has to be the most hated figure in world football today with El Hadj Diouf coming second. Has to be. The fact that he was absolutely pathetic in his actions wasn't even mentioned in the analysis on MOTD. What also is funny is that whilst Carrick, Anderson, Rooney and Tevez were rubbish against us, they were dropped whilst Ronaldo is undroppable so it seems from the single greatest manager in the world ever - the master of the mind games.

I reckon Ferguson is so scared of losing Ronaldo that he doesn't dare discipline him.
The whinger is lthe ultimate spoiled brat.
Those who voted him "Plater of the Year" obviously didn't look at the man himself and his many character flaws, only at his undisputed ball skills.

As it was, they began as if the defeat to Liverpool had never happened. They were second to every ball, not surprising with Ronaldo and Berbatov up front, who must be contractually excused from working for the team.

About halfway through the second half, Ronaldo railed once more about a perceived injustice, this time pointing to the heavens as if to ask, 'Why have you forsaken me, your chosen one?' By this stage, Ronaldo had forsaken his team-mates, just as he did at Old Trafford last week. The only surprise was that he stayed on the field and wasn't booked a second time for his attempts to referee the game himself or taken off by a furious manager.

To be fair to him though, yes he had a disastrous first half but he overcame that and started to cause them all sorts of problems in the second half. He's got a bit of character in him to overcom all the frustrations he had for being kicked off the park in the first half.

He's a whiny bitchy cunt yes, but he's no slouch.

When you compare him to torres and messi the runners up in world player of the year his attitude is disgraceful, messi gets lumps kicked out of him every week but just gets on with it and is a credit to the game.

Ronaldo is still a serious goal scoring machine, but imo will never appeal to people that actually know a bit about football!
