If I was Roy, I would have said "manure had an off day, Liverpool are on form and will be harder. Don't expect the same against them". That would have made more manageriel sense as the players could have relaxed again and played in the same carefree way.

    Nice one Roy.
Yes, thats what I think he should have said, back in the last thread I was one of the few who was happy that Hodgeson said what he did as I thought it would remove any pressure from his team. Bingo, that worked!

This time hes surely only added pressure to his team no?

      Me too

He also said that he would be wanting to get the points for his friend alex ferguson, which makes me laugh.

Either way the only team that can stop us getting the points is ourselves. We are the best team in every single game left but we need to show it out on the pitch.
      Forwards.......

        We will thrash them...

Did anyone pick on this (stand to be corrected on point 1)
1)Danny Murphy was the last Liverpool player to score a penalty against the scum
2)Steven Gerrard scored his first goal against Utd (penalty)
3)Danny Murphy opened the scoring against Man Utd with a penalty.
        4) hmmm maybe Emile can put one in for us
        5) expect Crouchie to pop up with a goal
        6) and hopefully Keano can put 2 past VdSar
He's scored before against the scum.
