Thanjk you.

Maradona also supported Bolivia playing at the altitude
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didnt exactly 'bet against Keane' though did i? I bet on the world champions winning at home against a bunch of no-marks. Probably would've won if they werent reduced to 10 men after about 5 minutes.
I had Belarus, Holland -1, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany and Italy. About 12/1 IIRC......****ing **** Keane!
The Argies were odds on to beat Bolivia, 4/7 i think
So that means Bolivia must've been a decent price for a home side, playing in high altitude.
I looked at their qualifying record at home for this qualification campagin so far:
Played 6
Won 3
Drawn 2
Lost 1
So while they dont often lose at home, some visiting sides can obviously cope with the altitude.
Argies drifted to near evens before kick off. They're often around 6/4 when they play the decent teams like Paraguay, Uruguay etc, 3/1 or so vs Brazil, Argentina and odds on against the crap like Peru and Venezuela. And like you say despite all the altitude stuff their record isnt anything special, it might be worth looking into what teams struggle there but generally they're to unreliable to make money off by the look of it.
Something to do with you taking in less oxygen I think and you can get bad sickness, headaches, dizzyness etc etc. You adjust after a while obviously but it must be a right pain just going there for a few days trying to play a game.
