    FA Cup semi finals

Federico Macheda is being tipped to start Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final with Everton after Alex Ferguson warned he will not play his best team.

Wayne Rooney is almost certain to miss the Wembley showpiece with a suspected metatarsal injury that could wreak havoc with the rest of his season.

Manchester United have a hectic end-of-season run-in to contend with, including three matches with Arsenal, as well as possible FA Cup and Champions League finals.

Ferguson revealed United fans may be disappointed with the line-up he selects to face Everton, but he insists the situation is unavoidable.

“When I pick my team on Sunday there will be critics voicing their concern about me not playing my strongest side,” Ferguson warned in The Daily Mirror.

“We’ve got so many big games coming up, somewhere along the line I’ve got to make changes.

“There are some fans who’d like me to play my best team every game. That’s impossible.”
    Come on Everton.

Wow, if Rooney's seriously out now, they're ****ed.

    He's been carrying them.

Never believe a Manchester United injury press release.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

The thing is. All the pundits and rags will be praising the Cunt for resting/rotating players. However, if it was Rafa, well, you know the outcome

Great news, if true about Balloony though

...and I'm sure Ferguson will have more than enough to say if Arsenal rest a few players against us on Tuesday.

Rooney's metatarsal injury is good news...he's been by far their best player this season and judging from past problems with his metatarsals he could be out for the rest of the season.

I believe Rooney's going to be fit soon. Not sure about that metatarsal injury; Sir Alex Ferguson will try every trick in his book to try to destabilize us, even ridiculing himself.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
