    Man Utd

They've been crap for over a month now, they've blown a massive lead in the Premiership, squeezed past a ****e Porto side and lost today on penalties.

They're knackered, have lost all sense of momentum and their horrible cunt of a boss is finally cracking up.

Title race is well and truly on.

I think they'll win the title, and definitely get into the CL final, as long as Rooney's fit.

They just know how to get a result and teams open their legs against them.

Rooney has a crack to his bone just above his foot so they will be lucky to still have him.

It all seems to be imploding for them, let's hope they continue this form until the end of the season. It felt weird today cheering for the Blues, but I really don't want the Mancs to win loads of trophies - I don't want them to win anything.

I thought it was rather arrogant of Ferguson to play such an inexperienced side against Everton, and although they played quite well it backfired in the end. It's okay doing that in the early rounds of the Carling Cup, but not in an FA Cup semi final! They got what they deserved today.

He has? that could be demoralising for them, a psychological blow losing a player like that, could enable canny sides to expose vulnerabilities in them, they've shown plenty lately, more could come to the surface.

They have been playing poorly all season (certainly relative to last term) but winning games. They are big favourites for the league in my book.

Mine too, no doubt, just on the basis of their lead, game in hand & games left to play.

However, not so long ago we were so far behind i thought we, no, we did need a miracle to even get close, so, on the basis of that 'miracle' having happened, a part of me still believes it could just be our time.

Things coming together, us really challenging them in the very season they are to equal our record, the Hillsborough anniversary, and a few other things i've noticed, not all reasons of romantic notions or hunches either, there's their form and our form, football reasons that do say we have a chance, all the above combined are serving to give me great hope.

They are certainly there for the taking and I very much think we will be the ones doing the taking next season.

They are still favourites however if they lose even one more game, I can see them slowly starting to turn on each other. Imagine a bust up between Rooney and Ronaldo with a three match suspension after Rooney nuts Ronaldo

                        God, I'm sounding like Nicey.

Wayne Rooney appears certain to miss Manchester United’s FA Cup semi-final against Everton tomorrow. The forward had expected to face his former club, but is extremely unlikely to be fit for the game at Wembley after a scan yesterday, having suffered a blow to his foot during the Champions League victory over Porto in midweek.

Sir Alex Ferguson, the United manager, played down concerns over Rooney at his pre-match press conference yesterday, saying that the forward and Michael Carrick had “knocks, but nothing serious”, but it emerged last night, after the player had a scan, that the injury was more serious. Although initial diagnosis in Oporto on Wednesday ruled out yet another metatarsal fracture, it appears that there is damage, which could restrict Rooney’s involvement in the final weeks of the season unless he rests immediately.

Rooney will be distraught after emphasising how much he was looking forward to playing against Everton in such a big game, even going so far as to offer an olive branch to the Merseyside club’s supporters, whom he upset by leaving for United in 2004.

Dimitar Berbatov will deputise for Rooney, and Ferguson’s team selection promises to be interesting as the United manager has made clear that the Champions League is his overwhelming priority this season, followed by the Barclays Premier League. There were indications from the United camp last night that Ferguson could make as many as six changes to the team that won 1-0 against Porto, which, with Rooney out and Carrick struggling, would suggest that players such as Patrice Evra, who has looked tired lately, Anderson and Ryan Giggs could drop out.

Ferguson is eager to keep his squad fresh before the Premier League matches against Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur next week and, beyond that, the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal. He reported that Darren Fletcher was fit after a knee injury and that Wes Brown may start his comeback in a Lancashire Senior Cup tie against Preston North End on Monday. The England defender has not played since suffering a metatarsal fracture during United’s previous meeting with Everton, a 1-0 win at Old Trafford on January 31.

The contempt and disrespect Ferguson showed Everton today, with that team selection, was a disgrace.

I'm sure the tv companies, newspapers and sporting media will all be scandalised and i am also certain that Sam Allardyce, who himself is known to be hugely intolerant of disrespect and contempt between football managers, will make his disgust known publicly.

Or maybe the hypocritical cunt wont say a word

Well, I look at it this way, one of the games I was on the look out for was the Boro game at home to Fulham. I thought if Boro get 3pts against Fulham then their game at home to Manure was not going to be as critical. For them though to only get a point was a good result in terms of how things could play out...

Factors to consider for the run in are.

                              Positive for LFC:
                              • We have only the league to now focus on.
                              • We dont have a congestion of games.
                              • The squad (based on the last few games) look focused as a unit as a whole.
                              • We're scoring goals

Positive things for us to consider:
                              • Manure have now 3 critical games against Arsenal
                              • Chelsea beating Arsenal will make them even more focused on he CL
                              • Boro drawing will make them want to get at least a point at home to Manure
                              • Mark Hughes is feeling the heat at Citeh so will need to have a good run in to
keep his job at Citeh - and a result or a good point at Old Toilet would be good for him
3pts would see him stay at Citeh (and I know loads of Citeh fans who want to turn them over at the Toilet).
                              • Arsenal at home in the league for Manure is always tough.

So thats my take on things for the run in... we need to (and I know its a cliché) take each game one at a time... but I think its well and truly on... Tuesdays game is MASSIVE!! Even bigger than last Tuesday now. And the fact Rafa took Torres and Masch off and then we got 2 more (unexpected) goals show the team is (fooking) focused...

And I've not even mentioned the Slurs rant on Friday about us.. what a Bell End (dont you just love those words, I'll say it again BELL END)!

                              He is feeling the presure...

So one team from Merseyside has stopped them winning the FA Cup. Its very possible we can stop them winning the League.
