Lampard said: "The hardest part of this whole break-up for me is not waking up with my kids every day. It breaks my heart – do you think I'm happy? You don't know anything about me."
Sometimes it's difficult to see 'celebrities' as real people, but I can empathise with Lampard. Fair play to him for sticking up for himself.

Wow, I dont think I have ever been called any of thoe things. Quite the reverse in fact.

And I love the fact that you can stand on the side of a man who is not only a serial cheater, but someone who did so while his wife was pregnant.

Yeah, I think I can make a judgement on this. More so because he is a role model to kids everywhere.

I find it more galling the fact that he did phone the DJ, and then played the dead mum card. his words: "my mother died a year ago today, which has been a huge impact on my life, my family’s life and my sister’s life. And unfortunately that’s had a huge impact on my relationship at home." as if it justifys the fact that he is an awful husband. Sorry but what does that have to do with anything. The fact that she left him, more that likely because he keeps cheating and she got fed up with it, and that he feels sorry for himself shows exactly the kind of man he is. We have all had relations die, its not easy, but it never excuses bad behaviour towards the ones who are left who love us.

Im not saying that he isnt a good father, or that the DJ in question is anything but a vulturous ****tard. But he still displays a complete lack of moral fibre. And there is no wayy I am going to watse a single shred sympathy.

Who is to judge? Nobody knows the true circumstance. However, I do abhore the sanctimonous radio presenter, and I applaud Lampard for sticking up for himself.

Of all the footballers in the PL, he's up there in the sense that I really dislike him, but, I would have done exactly the same, and I respect him for that, as a fellow human being.
            Oh I don't know.

              Well, you have now.

Now let me make something clear (although I'm surprised you weren't capable of working this out for yourself - oh hang on, no I'm not): I'm not standing on anyone's side because, um, it hasn't got anything to do with me.

I didn't bother reading further than that because your self-justifications are usually tedious and facile. I doubt your post here was much of an exception.

              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Ah, but you cant resist replying to my posts though, despite tedious and facileness.

I have noticed you only seem to have an opinion on other peoples opinions. Why even bother reading whats on here?

                Regardless... Carry on.

Ten year old boys all over the country are divorcing their wives and sleeping with slappers they meet in nightclubs now they've seen Frank Lampard do it. He's a role model you see.

You clearly haven't read many of my posts in any detail if you think I don't give my opinions on subjects. Still, you haven't been around long so I suppose we can let you off for that, eh, sonny?

For this I beg forgivness. You are right in that I have only read a few of your posts, mostly ones disagreeing with everything I say

For the first point, I think people will look at Lampard, and think its alright to cheat on your pregnant girlfriend. I just think that there is no greater betrayal there. I normally get accused of having a lack of morals, but on this point, I will make a stand. I think the guy is despicable.

Im only surprised that none of his little sessions have been filmed by Dyer and Ferdinand, and put on sale in the Chelsea club shop.

You form far too many opinions on reading tabloid rubbish mate.

The bit in bold is nonsense. If someone is taught right from wrong then they will be able to make their own mind up and these things are rarely as black and white as you make out.

The reality is that the biggest problem with this 'story' is that someone's private life is being played out in public to make people money and satisfy the morbid curiosity of others and you're a part of that judging by your posts.
"My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.

They are not based upon tabloid rubbish. I live down in London, and the rumours of his infidelity have been circulating for years, most of which would never see print, but (some of which may be baseless) But there is no smoke without fire. The fact is he did cheat while she was pregnant. Surely you are not going to defend that?

The thing that riled me is hearing his pathetic excuses. He should have kept quiet. Its not like when Carra called in, as those accusations were baseless. And to hear people talk of him now as if he is some sort of hero confounds me.

Let's get it straight Charly, we don't know in the first place why Lampard was cheating, his wife could have been a right ****ing cow for all you know. It seems you are in a happy marriage and have a great lass, not everyone has that.

But let's go your route and assume Lampard was ****ing about with other women 'cos he's a typical footballer and he is the one solely to blame for the spilt.

Lampard did not once mention that he was a fantastic husband and that he ahd been so hard done by the missus. He was in fcat being accused of being a prick towards his kids and that he had thrown them out to live in what was made to sound like a one room hovel somewhere in the slums.

That is what Lampard called up about. He stated clearly his family found this upsetting, in particular because of what day it was. The problem was calling him a bad father. Not a bad husband and I think he was entitled to ring up and have a go at the DJ.

He didn't moan about being in the spotlight and he is not one of those who goes whoring for the media anyway. The only thing I've ever seen him advertise is football related products. And the only reason he's been in the papers is for his football and when he's out on the lash every now and again. He doesn't ask for it.

He does however get paid a great deal and as such is expected to be in the public eye a great deal. Most footballers use this to their advantage when booking restaurants and buying cars, so they can't complain.

But surely somethings should be left alone and this is one of them. The DJ based his argument on small details and expanded them to something totally untrue.
                              Forwards.......

                                He advertises the Sun too.

Yeah, the DJ was a prick too. Im not disputing that. And Im not saying that he was a bad father.

But if he was unhappy, and she was a right cow:

                                1. Why have another child. That would be poor parenting.
                                2. Why cheat? Why not do the honourable thing and end it. These were not affairs but one night stands where he probably thought he could get away with it.
