Poor Defoe, football the last thing on his mind today then, wonder if it will have any effect on Spurs performance, i don't mean to be crass either bringing this up, just wondering is all.

Yes, of course not, but maybe his team mates will try to win today's game for him?

Obviously Defoe won't play, go's without saying really, my thoughts were more about the effect on his team mates, and whether it would have any impact, positive or negative, i selfishly hope your right with your above post.

Come on Spurs, we paid all that money for Keane and didn't see the best of him. Hopefully Robbie will show us what he's truly capable of today. He must be disappointed with the way things turned out, but he's a Liverpool supporter and he can help us win number 19 if he gets a few goals today. I've got a good feeling about this game.

It'd be great if West Ham could beat Chelsea too, and Man City stop being ****e away from home.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
