I used to like Howard Webb, but this year he has been as bad as the rest of them. I remember our first match against the arse this year, shocking.

It would be appreciated if everyone could give the point scoring and bitching a rest because it makes the football section of this site off putting and unbearable at times

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas could be in hot water with the Football Association for his remarks about referee Howard Webb following the 5-2 defeat to Manchester United.
The FA has written to the England international asking him to explain his comments about Webb, who awarded a controversial penalty against Spurs when the visitors were leading 2-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday.
An FA spokesman said: "We have written to Jermaine Jenas to ask for an explanation for his remarks."
Jenas has seven days to respond after which FA disciplinary chiefs will decide whether he is to face a charge or not.
The remark the FA takes issue with is when Jenas said after the game: "One thing which struck me about it was that he [Webb] didn't even think.
"It was like he'd already made his mind up when he came out for the second half that he was going to give something."
He also said: "I think it was a case of a referee crumbling under the pressure at Old Trafford really.
"The atmosphere, the occasion, the importance of the match, a lot of factors take their toll when making decisions."
