He simply can't be compared to Brett Angel Joyno!!

IMHO he wont reach the class of Rooney, that a very tall order indeed.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I don't care how good he is... Under Wenger stewardship he'll undoubtably improve.

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Rooney hasnt acheived those dizzy heights just yet. Certainly he seems to have hit a very difficult patch.
Walcott htough looks superb. The pace and the finish..the new Henry?

Walcott's goals last nights were carbon copies of some of Owen's early goals for Liverpool. They do appear to be fairly similar in build too.

I wonder if Theo will ultimately suffer the same types of injuries that have curtailed Owen's pace and career.

That was the strangest of all Wenger's buys for me. And probably the cause of Wenger's predilection of the foreign market.

Must say watching his goals did remind me owen alot. But i think the right back Richards is just a good a prospect and is already experiencing prem football at Man City.
