What's your favourite football stadium (apart from Anfield obviously)

Didn't do the tour - I wish I had.

The dressing rooms were off limits in Milan last week - some sort of private function, so it was just the main stand and AC Milan end (and museum obviously).

I’m sure I’ve told this before.

I forgot my camera and so bought a ****ty Kodak disposable on the way there. On the stadium tour, we saw Rochemback and Christanval outside, Guardiola and Luis Enrique near the tunnel and, in the (very dark) trophy room, we saw Patrick Kluivert. I managed to accost Kluivert and asked him to pose for a pic. He was very happy to do so. I had my pic taken with him and off I went.

When I got home, I had the pics developed and eagerly flicked through them to find the pic of me and Kluivert. I reached the pic and all I could see was a very dark, grainy image of me, standing next to a floating set of bright white teeth. I don’t think my housemates at the time believed me. I could’ve been standing with anyone.

Definitely. It was full when I went – about 98,000 I think – and initially it was fantastic. We frustrated them though and the atmosphere first went quiet, then grew restless, then got tasty with the nearest Barca loons, then they turned on their team with about 10 minutes to go (it was 0-0 FFS) when the entire stadium, bar us lot up in the gods, started waving white hankies. An amazing sight.

I'd love to see the white hankies. They beat Getafe 2 - 0 (Ronaldinho with both) when I went.

They are weird though. We were in the top tier opposite the roofed stand, about halfway. All the people around us were ST holders (middle aged men, on their own) with earphones in one ear. Whenever there was a foul against a Barca player, it was beldlam. Quite amusing really. There was more noise for those fouls than there was for the goals.

Emirates is fantastic as well.

Barcas and Reals ground are impressive for their sheer size.

Valencias ground is superb, I wouldnt want to play there as the away team.

I stayed around the corner from the Mestalla a couple years ago. They didn't seem to have any tours of the ground, and there were no games that week either (international week), so I didn't go in.

Looks very inhospitable though.

I like WHL too. Great ground.

I stayed around the corner from the Mestalla a couple years ago. They didn't seem to have any tours of the ground, and there were no games that week either (international week), so I didn't go in.

Looks very inhospitable though.

They have a man sat by a door, we walked around the around twice before we found it, fella was horrible as well hardly a welcoming tour. The steepness is superb although I dont fancy being at the top.

Nothing to do with stadiums but A.Madrid have the best hotdogs ever outside their ground.

And Southampton have the best chippy ever outside theirs, I would pay £20 for a bag of their chips.

I really like Craven Cottage. Nice leafy parky area by the water. Not the most impressive stadium but easily the nicest to visit on a matchday.

I love Craven Cottage, purely because it's 20 mins from where i live and very easy to get to, and to park near.

Also, as you say, it's very 'pretty' nearby, with bishop's park and the river - on a warm sunny day, it's nice surroundings to be in.
