Summer signing Sergio Torres will not be playing for Peterborough next season after being placed on the transfer list.

"It just hasn't worked for Sergio, sometimes for whatever reason it just doesn't work out when players move clubs," boss Darren Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"We spent a bit of money on him but he hasn't played enough football with missing pre-season and then getting injured again."

Ferguson also confirmed that he is chasing a couple of Premier League players on loan for next season.
