Wenger was completely clueless today. His subs were just stupid.

We did pretty well this season but obviously drew too many games, Scum got too many decisions from refs and not enough teams made an effort against them at Old Trafford

Why would any of us bother?
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I thought today's game epitomised United's season - just done enough. Eventually, that mentality will wear off. Teams who are more tactically astute and set up will spring a surprise against United. They have been able to play like that because its been a mish-mash United team with a rotating door policy of defenders and midfielders thus not knowing how to play with each other coupled with United's players getting a year old and closer to retirement.

I don't know what it is with our players after the winter. Maybe to do with the climate change or the change in diets that make them awful during the winter periods and superb from February onwards. Maybe its the lack of pressure on the shoulders of the team due to being far away from the top but this season has shown we can murder teams, good teams at that and have the right balance. Start with a bang and send a statement out to the teams. We didn't do that this year - we kind of hobbled to top and somehow managed to stay there for a considerable amount of time. As I said, start with a statement and teams will lose their matches on the coach ride to Anfield making the job half easy.

I've been banging on about this for a while now - that's what they do.

8 men behind the ball and let Rooney & Ronaldo get the goal.

It's 'do just enough' football and it's what we were playing quite a lot too - inevitably, because we dont have enough matchwinners, we were caught out a couple of times.

Let them have it this season as far as i can see their card is marked next season and Fergie ****ing knows it. Next season we will be stronger and more experienced. Some times you have to lose a title to win them. We are by far better than those lot and it has been a long time since i have said that and meant it.

Torres and gerrard missed a **** load of games this season and yet we still managed to push them to the end of the season.

Rafa's machine is starting to click and needs 1 or two cogs to finish it off

I think United haven't found the right balance yet, as stupid as it sounds. And in that case, nor have Liverpool. United were far too reliant on that one goal whilst Liverpool will win if they play well.

We don't have enough matchwinners - totally agree. Robbie Keane can be a matchwinner but for a mid table club. In truth, Liverpool have players who do their job especially in the latter stages of the season - Kuyt, Benayoun, Riera but if Torres and Gerrard were both to be injured, could the side manufacture three points? As I said, even if one of the top two players is injured, the side doesn't look the same, it looks disjointed, a bit bemused to think of a better phrase.

Comparisons have been made to the United team that ran Leeds ever so close before the start of the glorified Premier League - lets hope the revolution begins sooner rather than later.

Brutal to watch and know it should have been ours if we had the right mentality, more depth and fewer injuries. Too many "ifs"; we simply weren't good enough in December, did not have enough depth and our stars missed too many games. Health and a couple of crucial acquisitions willing, 19 is ours.

My predictions before kick off were Newcastle and Boro to win and Hull to take a point. Sunderland will take a point against Pompey which will bring Boro down (thank god).

It's a hard to care about the other games, I just want us to take our remaining two games seriously - cement second spot with as few points as possible between ourselves and United.

                                Fagan has equalised for Hull
Newcastle have a goal chalked off.
