    For Chelsea to finish 2nd they need us to lose to Spurs and the between our game and theirs they have to over turn our 5 goal difference (we have the edge on goals scored also)

    So if we lose by 1 they need to win by 5, if we lose by 2 they need win by 4 etc
    The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

          Indeed. What is worse is that I have now been to Wembley three times to watch non league games - Cambridge's two play off finals and last week York vs Stevenage in the FA Trophy final (York is where I went to Uni) and every time the team I have been supporting have lost and failed to score.

            When did you start supporting LFC? Sometime after May 1990 perhaps?

                                what a last day.....

                                Newcastle at Villa
                                Sunderland at home to Chelsea
                                Hull Against Scum

                                Can see it going right to the wire........Villa, Chelsea and Scum dont have anything to play for.
                                Can definitely see Hull getting something from the Mancs as i think they will play a weak team, can also see Newcastle doing Villa, just dont think Villa will be up for it.
