chelsea definitely need an overhaul as a lot of their main players are getting on now. ballack and drogba are 2 massive pieces that will stop working in the next season or two. and they dont seem to have the money they used to have so you cant assume anymore that theyd just go out and get 2 world class superstars.

the mancs have a very strong squad assuming nobody leaves, tevez seems doubtful though. they could actually be even stronger in some bizarre way. tevez is a good player but hes got what, 4 league goals all season? if they use the 30m on somebody else they could get someone better than him in.
I think that United will have to do plenty of work - either retaining players like Tevez and Ronaldo or getting ready to have to replace the likes of Scholes, Giggs and Van Der Sar who are getting on and if they drop in level then could cause real problems for them next season (look at how United struggled when Roy Keane suddenly couldn't really cut it at the top level). The fact is that it isn't just the goals but the overall contribution that is important from Tevez (and actually the timing/importance of those goals).

I think we need additions but I've said before that I think that players who make a decent contribution but allow us different styles not necessarily world class players would make a big difference to us (like Riera has this season). I feel that we need to add one really top class player who gets goals and other than that we have a pretty decent margin for error on our incoming signings which hasn't really been the case previously.
