Totally agree.

As it stands, the UFAILED Cup is secondary to the CL, regardless of what branding they undertake.

Fact is, any club in the competition wants to be in the CL.

Of course they do. But I tell you what, it's still atrophy worth winning. I was delighted when we won it and our climb back to the summit of European fooitball started there.

Ridiculous to think that Villa and Spurs threw away any chance they had of winning it. That said, I can see why Spurs did as they looked in serious trouble at one stage, but Villa were just daft.
