Cant see newcastle getting a result away at villa imo. Even though villa have been **** they should still have more than enough to doom newcastle.

So that nobody has the advantage of knowing what other clubs have achieved in their game. Always the same on the final day.

I'm looking forward to Newcastle going down. I actually think it can help them long term because their squad is **** and their wage bill is crazy. It's a chance for them to have a clear out and start from scratch. The only players they should try and keep are Guthrie, Steven Taylor and their kids. Bassong too but there's no way he'll stay there.

                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

                      Final day fixtures

So here we are the final day of the season, Im going to have to find another way to occupy my weekends for the next 3 months!

I reckon Newcastle will lose, and Boro will get a point sending them both down.

I was just wondering, do you think Chelsea will play a full strength team today with the FA Cup in mind? Its just that i have 1 last transfer in the works fantasy footy league (Telegraph version), having been knocked off top spot last week! Im thinking of transferring out Ronaldo (who wont play today) for Malouda (I already have Lampard). This will also give me an extra appearance as the FA Cup games also count.

                      Arsenal v Stoke City
                      Aston Villa v Newcastle
                      Blackburn v West Brom
                      Fulham v Everton
                      Hull City v Man Utd
                      Liverpool v Tottenham
                      Man City v Bolton
                      Sunderland v Chelsea
                      West Ham v Middlesbrough
                      Wigan Athletic v Portsmouth

The Newcastle game may be a delayed kick-off as there are traffic problems on the Birmingham M6

                          That would be seriously controversial
