To be fair that was his stock answer and came across like he was accepting they were better and refusing to accept any one thing caused the defeat. He was fairly gracious in my opinion.

Congrats to Barça... the forces of good prevail!

Have to say though, on current form, I believe that we would have beaten either side. But you have to put yourself in the position to win, and we were unable to get by Chelsea. A shame because, deserving and comprehensive victory for Barça aside, I still think we have the best team in Europe right now. Hopefully this loss sets the tone for next year, and we come out blazing toward the title and No. 6...
