Thanjk you.

It seems so obvious when you look at it, but whoever the England manager is never seems to be able to play his best team.
SG would have made no difference whatsover.
England are ****e - full stop. The FA deserve everything they get.
First they appoint that gormless swedish tw@t and when they finally drum up the courage to get rid of him (or force him to resign) they go and appoint his second in command - a man who has only ever won the carling cup (when it wasn't even fashionable).
Until there's a dramatic shake up at the FA - my only feeling for international football will be apathy.

Excellent points Les. I told a lad on koptalk that this qualifiation was by no means a walk in the park for England and that Mclaren was Graham Taylor markII. He was having none of it though. I wonder if he feels so confident now?!
I posted this in the international forum, but hardly anyone ever goes there so...

There's an international forum?
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
When things are going well, and the team is winning - the manager picks a 4-4-2 formation to which everybody is accustomed. When things go wrong - the manager changes the tactics to 3-5-2 - a formation which hardly any of the players are accustomed to - and then expects to get a result!! If anybody can explain the logic in that then please do coz it's beyond me. It really is.
4-4-2 all the way and then bang! 3-5-2 when desparation appears on the horizon. If that's good management then we might as well all pack up and stop giving our views on football because we all know feck all.
Although to be fair to you Neil, I had no idea until a week or two ago when it suddenly appeared without any notice. Dunno how or why, but it just appeared - with posts going back quite a while. Heh!
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
