Feels as if we won another European cup.

Wasn't bothered with the match, didn't watch it as I had commitments this morning. How delighted to see that they were spanked by a better footballing team. I think we would have fared better against Barca, as we've got the midfield to counter them, that was the key. United's midfield is so without substance.

So watch out Mr Fergie: You have met your match in us.
If you think you can push us we're afraid you've missed the bus.

If only Rafa could get Iniesta. Wouldn't mind losing Xabi.

I don`t think Barca would have played the same way against us. Mash and Xabi would make it a lot harder to get through the midfield, and if they pushed the defense as high as they did Torres would have lots of room to run into.
The Scum midfield could not cope, and that meant that their attacking play never got going.

Plus the Barca defence would have had absolutely no idea how to cope with Dirk Kuyt

That's because Mash would have gone straight for their throat. Still, I don't think Xabi is as consistent a passer than Xavi and Iniesta but he's waaaay better than ****ing Carrick.

                    Oh what a beautiful day!!

The Mancs here are deluded ****ers. "We just played poorly, nowhere near our best, if we'd played like we can we would've won"
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

They actually didn't notice they were trounced by a footballing team when we played there at Old Trafford. Barca did the same to them, keep the ****ing ball and exploit their deficiencies. United don't have a clue when they're faced with a team which actually takes the game to them, they can't defend for their ****ing lives, they are all over the place.

I'm actually up for watching this match now, after giving it a no show last night.

don't get these type of comments, this feels nothing like winning another european cup.
                        makes us sound like bitters.

I'm chuffed united got beat, in the same light i hate to see them win even the toss.

But to celibrate them loosing like we've won esp when we haven't won anything doesn't ring right with me its like we want them to loose more than us to win
The thing that gets me is how close we came to the PL and winning the PL is the way to say haha to them.

The best thing about last night is exactly the same feeling i got when we beat them - they had no fight in them
Slur Alex continual comments re the 4-1 flattering us, reading between the lines i recon he knows they got hammered and it won't belong before other teams will believe they can get a result.
The KOP used to be worth a goal. united's reputation is probably worth a goal, maybe not next year.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

I agree with you mate, my comments were actually tongue in cheek and if you look for one of my earlier posts I was rather ironic about that.

But still, it feels bloody good to ram it down their throats.

Ronaldo's probably a goner now, after questioning Ferguson's tactics.

                              had seen it
was more using it as a ref, ofcourse it feels good and as i work in manchester will enjoy being back in work next week for the banter, but that's all it is. The result isn't cause for poping the champagne

but it's the way they've lost that gives me hope and after being mentioned its the best united team ever

They could loose Ronaldo and Tevez along with Giggs, Scholes VDS all getting older and be stuck with Berbatov

Not only did the better team win, they did it playing beautiful and proper football .. What lovely passing by Barca.. What astutely correct tactics.. they showed united up good and proper

I agree with you to some extent.. but then the reason I am celebrating is not just because they lost..

It's that pride comes before a fall and man did they fall! What arrogant ****s they were, and they were beaten good and proper. And taught a lesson in football.

Chelsea had an argument that they were robbed. (Although most of us would call it Karma )
United have no choice but to hold up their hands and admit that they got whipped. And so the stupid Manc-loving press has no excuse to sit there moaning for months about what could have been/unfairness/conspiracy theories...
They lost, game over... that's all folks.

And yet there are some of them who still won't even admit it.
I think that's why even Newcastle fans are laughing at them (re Red Cafe).. They really set themselves up for the fall and boy oh boy do they look stupid
