    Good performance...

From the lads tonight. Unfortunate not to win. Spirit was back in the camp and we have unearthed a gem in Paul Mac Shane (seen him play a few times now). Duffer seemed more willing to have a go and get to the byline, more than he has been doing lately. Alan o' Brien is also going to be a good player.

All in all, a decent result and a little unlucky.

I saw the team-sheet...who the **** are Henderson and MacShane?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I don't know much about Henderson. He plays for Brighton (i think) but unfortunately we are severly lacking in the goalkeeping department at the moment. In saying that, he looked OK.

Mac Shane had been on the books at United for a while. He's currently at Westbrom but i'm not sure if it's a loan deal or not. He's rated very highly by Ferguson either way and obviously by Bryan Robson too as he was the 1 who brought him to WestBrom.

He's only 20 or so but he looks the part. He has a bit of everything needed to be a top Centrehalf including a goal threat from attacking set pieces.

From what I heard MacShane went to West Brom as part of the Kuszczak deal.
How the hell did Manu let him go while hanging on to O'Shea

He was immense tonight. Thought Kelly had a quality game too.
Alan O'Brien is gonna be a crackin player.

Just got back from the game. Lansdowne was rocking for the entire 90 mins. Unbelievable support considering what happened at the weekend
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

I watched most of this game and really enjoyed it. Macshane looks like he's got a crock of gold hidden somewhere! He played well the lad though. Can see him going somewhere better than WBA at some point. Henderson kept his nerve as well. Good goal by Kilbane. Thought Robbie Keane could have done better but then at least it meant we didn't have to see that stupid celebration. Baros is a whinging fecker!
          I live with Steptoe.

I wouldn't have minded seeing that stupid celebration

Thought the support last night looked fantastic from what I saw, great to see after the debacle last weekend. Much, much improved, shame there's no hope of qualifying really at all now, but an element of pride restored nonetheless
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
              Mine angry and defrauded young?

                pride restored indeed
great night overall apart from when koller cut short our celebrations
mc shane was great on the night, pity he isnt a wee bit taller, wonder how he's fare at fullback or cm?
for an injury ravaged squad that was some perfomance against the czechs
we should move on to 4 points on the board in nov

good point from the game though Keane could have nicked all 3 at the end. Mc Shane looks very promising. Dunphy even liked him !

He dealt really well with Koller, even though he's 8 inches taller

Great performance, considering 4 players making their competitive starts.
