Revista de la liga (Sky) reporting the same thing.

Also add that Silva and Villa look nailed on. That Ribery is a potential target, as well as Ronaldo. It was also said that Perez is 100% convinced that Alonso is coming to Madrid.
    Forwards.......

Only three hundred million euros. Not too much.

Perez is very very friendly with people at the top of some spanish banks so money is not an issue. Remember they sold their training ground for about £100m!!

Not so sure about this. The majority of Spanish banks will cease to exist very soon

So what, the deal's worth £90m?

Sheer insanity. It's ****ed up if this happens.
              Agree, absolute madness.

They're supposed to have 300 million euros to spend and have targeted Ronaldo, Ribery, Alonso, Villa, Silva, Cazorla in addition to Kaka. Perez has been quoted as saying he will spend 3 years money in 1 summer.

So Kaka, Ronaldo, Villa, Silva, Alonso, Ribery too?

That's over a quarter of a billion. I dont believe it.

Just hearing on radio now, that Perez is saying they'll mortgage the club against future success, and the general feeling is that their gross spend THIS SUMMER will be €300m. They're basically building a new generation of 'galacticos'.

Apparently, their shopping list is Ronaldo, Kaka, Silva, Ribery, Alonso, Albiol and Villa.

Chelsea are trying to hijack the deal according to El País. A bidding war between Florentino Pérez and Roman Abramovich: madness.

There was a link with Vidic quite recently too but I think it's midfielders/wingers that are the priority.

I don't think Florentino Pérez is keen on Vidic, he was never interested in defenders.

I do. His plan is pretty simple. Sign the best and send them all over the world to play friendlys and sell shirts by the bucket load. Can't see it working out myself, but it worked last time. They got £10m for three days in Japan one summer.

To the local council, not a bank.

They can use it rent free as part of the deal.
                            Oh I don't know.

They still have to find the funds in the first place - where's it coming from?

In this climate, who has €300m lying around to lend them?
