    There's a couple of points that could be misleading, as someone pointed out earlier own goals could have counted for at least one of the clubs, also and I don't think anyone has mentioned this but "won trophies in France, Spain, and Turkey" doesn't necessarily mean they have played in all those countries for example we won the Champions league in Turkey.
    The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

      Some good points here, identifies that the question could & likely does have many misleading aspects to it.

        I still can't get it though

        I can only think of a 4 players off the top of my head who have won Premiership and not played for their country of birth:

        Owen Hargreaves, Patrick Vieira, Patrice Evra and Steve Bruce but none of them match all the other criteria
