How come Maicon is unanimous so far? I think he’s a decent player and bar Alves I don’t have enough knowledge to counter argue. But if he’s the world’s best RB, why is Jose letting him go, and why were very few people here calling for us to sign him when we were clearly looking for a RB?

Few things (yeah i know my team prolly doesnt make much sense)-
-Maicon is the best right back in the world. Mourinho is an idiot for not giving him a new contract. He would probably cost about £25m to buy right now and isn't an option for us because we need English players to meet the new Champions League homegrown quota
-Vidic- Last summer i thought he was the best cb in the world but having watched him this season he is clearly flawed. Ferdinand as dumb as he looks seems to be better than him.
Nesta- Way way way overrated. 3 or 4 years ago you could argue he was one of the best but he has been very poor for a few seasons now
Lahm- He may be a good left back but c'mon you can't not have Ribery in the team! Btw Skybet are offering 6/1 on Ribery staying at Bayern !!! I don't think Madrid will stump up the £60m or whatever Bayern are looking for. Brilliant price
